The Summit FS24LMED2 is a compact manual defrost medical all-freezer with a capacity of 1.4 cu.ft., specifically designed for the storage of vaccines and other sensitive materials in medical, scientific, pharmaceutical, and laboratory settings. This unit includes an external front control panel that enables users to adjust and monitor the temperature without needing to open the door, thus preserving the integrity of the contents. Security is enhanced with a keyed lock and a hospital grade 'green dot' cord, suitable for high traffic environments. The FS24LMED2 features a NIST calibrated thermometer that displays current, minimum, and maximum temperatures to the nearest tenth of a degree, with a readout available in Celsius or Fahrenheit, and ships with a certificate of calibration for documentation. An audible alarm alerts users if the internal temperature falls outside the programmed range. The buffered temperature probe, housed in a glycol-filled bottle, accurately reflects the temperature of stored contents.
