Chem-Crest 165 is a phosphate-free deoxidizer and liquid cleaner specifically formulated to eliminate light oils, discoloration, tarnishes, scales, and oxides. This detergent operates at a near neutral pH and is effective for cleaning soft metals post-manufacture, as well as in routine cleaning applications. It exhibits compatibility with various substrates, including brass, bronze, copper, stainless steel, zinc, and aluminum, while also being safe for use on glass, ceramics, and plastics. However, ferrous surfaces require immediate protection with an appropriate rust inhibitor following treatment with Chem-Crest 165. The recommended dilution rates are 5-10% by volume for general use and 10-15% by volume for heavy descaling, with optimal operating temperatures ranging from 130°F to 160°F; for heavy descaling, the ideal temperature is between 150°F and 180°F, and the rinsing water should be at 100°F to 150°F. Chem-Crest 165 effectively removes light oils, light scales, oxides, and general contaminants from surfaces. It is available in cases of four 1-gallon plastic bottles, five-gallon pails, and 55-gallon containers.
