Chem Crest 14 General Purpose Wash Solution is a multipurpose heavy-duty phosphate-free liquid cleaner available in a 55-gallon drum (Crest Ultrasonic 700014D). This detergent concentrate is designed for the removal of a wide range of contaminants commonly found in biomedical and laboratory settings, including oils, greases, blood, tissues, ointments, lubricants, buffing and lapping compounds, fingerprints, and airborne contaminants. Chem-Crest 14 is typically used at a dilution of 3 - 10% by volume in ultrasonic applications, with normal operating temperatures between 120 - 170°F, and a recommended rinsing water temperature of 120 - 150°F, depending on the material and contaminants involved. It is compatible with a variety of substrates, including carbon and stainless steels, aluminum, brass, copper, bronze, zinc, glass, plastics, hard rubber articles, and ceramics when used as directed. Chem-Crest 14 is available in cases of four 1-gallon plastic bottles, 5-gallon pails, and 55-gallon containers.
