Chem-Crest 515 is a mild liquid detergent designed for various applications that require effective detergency and wetting on hard surfaces. This nonetching detergent has a neutral pH and was specifically formulated to enhance particle removal capability. It can also serve as an additive to other detergents to improve wetting ability. Chem-Crest 515 demonstrates compatibility with a range of substrates, including copper, beryllium, copper alloys, brass, gold, silver, stainless steel, aluminum, plastics, glass, nickel alloys, and ceramics when used as directed. The detergent is utilized at a concentration of 3-10% by volume in ultrasonic cleaning processes targeting light to heavy contaminants. The normal operating temperature for use is between 130°F and 160°F, with a recommended rinsing water temperature of 110°F to 150°F. Typical contaminants effectively removed by Chem-Crest 515 include oils, lubricants, particles, fingerprints, light silicone oils, mold release compounds, buffing compounds, and airborne contaminants. Availability includes cases of four 1-gallon plastic bottles, 5-gallon pails, and 55-gallon containers.
