Chem-Crest 275 is a multipurpose, heavy-duty, phosphate and silicate-free caustic liquid detergent designed for the removal of various contaminants such as oils, greases, and particulates across industrial, mechanical, and maintenance cleaning operations. This detergent is compatible with ferrous metals, nickel, chromium alloys, titanium, plastics, glass, ceramics, and silicon wafers when used as directed, but should not be used on aluminum, magnesium, or zinc substrates. The typical dilution rates are 3-5% by volume for light soils and 5-10% for heavy soils, with a 20-25% solution effective for de-rusting and de-scaling of ferrous metals; the recommended rinsing water temperature is between 120 - 150°F. Chem-Crest 275 can effectively remove a wide range of contaminants including machining oils, greases, metalworking fluids, drawing and stamping oils, buffing, lapping and polishing compounds, solder fluxes, welding fluxes, photoresists, airborne contaminants, and baked-on carbonaceous soils. It is available in cases of (4) x 1-gallon plastic bottles, 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon containers, and custom bulk sizes.
