Chem-Crest 77-C is a rust inhibitor concentrate specifically designed for use as a rinse injection in an overflowing ultrasonic rinse tank, although it can also serve as a standard final dip for certain applications. This product offers long-term oxidation protection for mild and tool-grade steels, as well as high-carbon stainless steels, when used as directed. It is compatible with various metals, including aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, zinc, and steels. Typically used at a concentration of 1-2% by volume in ultrasonic rinsing applications, Chem-Crest 77-C operates optimally at temperatures ranging from 100 to 150°F, depending on the substrate material. It is effective in preventing oxidation caused by wash chemicals, exposure to water, and hot-air drying, as well as during storage prior to further processing or final product handling. Chem-Crest 77-C is available in cases of four 1-gallon plastic bottles, 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon containers, and specialty sizes upon request.
