Chem-Crest 2003 is a heavy-duty liquid detergent concentrate designed for a broad spectrum of applications, particularly effective on hard-to-clean contaminants in industries ranging from automotive to general maintenance and heat exchangers. It is mildly inhibited to prevent flash rusting and is free-rinsing, making it versatile for various uses. The product shows compatibility with metals such as copper, steels, glass, plastics, hard rubber, and ceramics when used as directed, and can be used with aluminum for short exposure periods to tackle tough contaminants. Typically employed at a concentration of 10% by volume in ultrasonic applications, Chem-Crest 2003 operates effectively at temperatures between 120°F and 180°F, depending on the substrate makeup and contaminants, with a recommended rinsing water temperature of 110°F to 150°F. The detergent excels at removing oils, greases, particulate matter, carbon residues, dried fuel, and crude fuel residues, among other general contaminants. Chem-Crest 2003 is available in cases of (4) x 1-gallon plastic bottles, 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon containers, and custom bulk sizes.
