The Abell-Howe® foundationless base mounted light duty jib crane (model 4L0028) has a capacity of 1000 lb. Designed for light duty industrial applications, the J-904L series offers a foundationless solution that requires only a 6" concrete depth for installation. The crane necessitates the use of epoxy anchor bolts, specifically the Hilti RE-500 adhesive anchoring system with a 4 1/2" embedment. It features 360-degree rotation on a tapered roller bearing, capable of handling full capacity vertical and radial thrust loading. For optimal performance, the concrete floor must have a minimum thickness of 6", contain wire mesh reinforcement, and should be placed on soil with a minimum pressure of 2,500 psf, while also complying with a minimum concrete compressive strength of 3,000 psi. Additionally, the jib crane must be positioned on a square foot area that is free of cracks, seams, control joints, and adjacent walls.
