These gasket strips are made from high strength neoprene rubber, also known as Spec Grade Neoprene. This formulation is stronger and more durable than standard neoprene, making it suitable for more demanding applications. With a higher neoprene content, this material lasts longer when exposed to sunlight, oil, and chemicals, and it boasts a strength increase of 50% over commercial neoprene. Additionally, high strength neoprene rubber has superior absorbing qualities and provides a longer lifespan compared to standard neoprene.
