The Ergodyne® Squids® 3100FX tool lanyard is a shock absorbing tool lanyard designed for safety and functionality, featuring a single carabiner and a maximum capacity of 10 lbs (4.5 kg). It includes a robust carabiner on one end and a loop on the other, which helps prevent falling objects and reduces the force experienced by the user in the event of a drop by absorbing the energy transmitted through the lanyard. The durable 1680 denier polyester elastic blended webbing extends from 38" to 70" (96cm - 178cm) and is constructed with a low profile lightweight design to minimize snag hazards and extra weight. It features an anodized aluminum alloy carabiner with a captive eye, a treaded loop end for a secure grip on tools, and high strength 3-ply nylon stitching that secures the connecting ends. The lanyard's single length construction eliminates weak points that can be found in multi-component lanyards. It is third-party certified with a 2:1 safety factor, ensuring reliable performance under load.
