The Ergodyne® Squids® 3118FX tool lanyard features a dual locking carabiner and has a maximum capacity of 15 lbs (6.8 kg). This shock-absorbing tool lanyard, designed and tested to prevent falling objects, reduces the force experienced by the user in the event of a drop by absorbing energy transmitted through the lanyard. With durable 1680 denier polyester elastic blended webbing that extends from 38" to 70" (96 cm - 178 cm), the lanyard boasts a low-profile lightweight design to minimize snag hazards and reduce added weight. Anodized aluminum alloy carabiners with a double action locking gate and an inherent captive eye enhance safety and usability, while the ergonomic design allows for easy gripping and handling even with gloves. High strength 3-ply nylon stitching secures the connecting ends, and the single length construction eliminates weak points commonly seen in multi-component lanyards.
