The Ergodyne® Squids® 3108FX tool lanyard is a single locking carabiner tool lanyard with a 15 lbs (6.8 kg) capacity, model number 19808. This shock absorbing tool lanyard features a locking carabiner on one end and a loop on the other, designed and tested to prevent falling objects and to reduce the force experienced by the user in the event of a drop by absorbing energy transmitted through the lanyard. Key attributes include shock absorbing properties that minimize dynamic force on the body or anchor point during a drop, durable 1680 denier polyester elastic blended webbing that extends from 38" to 70" (96cm - 178cm), and a low profile lightweight design that reduces snag hazards while minimizing additional weight. The anodized aluminum alloy carabiner is equipped with a double action locking gate and an inherent captive eye, designed for easy gripping and handling, even when wearing gloves. The treaded loop end provides a secure grip on the tool, while high strength 3-ply nylon stitching reinforces the connecting ends.
