The DC-330NC Continental Series™ of high production, horizontal band saws by DoAll are engineered for cutting a wide range of metals on a production basis, featuring automatic operation and numerical control with heavy-duty construction that enhances rigidity and minimizes vibration. The saws come with standard equipment including PLC control for all electric and hydraulic functions, infinitely variable speed control with VFD, hydraulic retractable shuttle vise, material indexer, rapid and creep speed index vise control, multi-step full stroke vises with split front vise and variable vise pressure control, nesting fixture for bundle cutting, spring-loaded zero-clearance coolant through, carbide faced saw guide with lead-in rollers, power-driven coolant flushed blade cleaning wire brush, flushing hose and auxiliary coolant nozzles, hydraulic blade tension, automatic chip conveyor, blade breakage/stall motion detector shut-off switch, band door interlocks, work light, one 6.5 foot (2 meter) gravity conveyor, tool kit, complimentary DoAll cutting fluids package, one DoAll bi-metal saw blade, and instruction and parts manuals on CD or USB data stick. The specifications include a cutting capacity of 13” (330mm) for round materials and 15-3/4 x 13” (400 x 330 mm) for rectangular materials, with a maximum bundle capacity of 14-1/2 x 6-5/8” (370 x 170mm) and a minimum bundle capacity of 6-1/2” x 2” (165 x 170mm). The band saw blade measures 1-1/4 x 0.042 x 167” (34 x 1.1 x 4242mm) with a blade speed range of 52-275 FPM (16-85 MPM). It incorporates a 5 HP (3.75 KW) band drive, a 1 HP (0.75 KW) hydraulic pump with a hydraulic tank capacity of 16 gal. (60 lit), and a 1/6 HP (0.12 KW) coolant pump with a coolant tank capacity of 24 gal. (90 lit). The automatic index length for a single cut is 19.68” (500mm) and for multiple cuts, it is 177.16” (4500mm). The material pass line height is also specified within the system's design parameters.
