This saw includes oversized cast iron tables, a newly designed arbor lock lever accessible from above the tabletop to eliminate the need for dual arbor wrenches, and a quick-release riving knife design that helps reduce the chance of kickback. Its blade tilt scale features an integrated digital readout and adjustable angle indicators for repetitive bevel cuts. The integrated retractable hydraulic caster system allows for greater mobility than previous models, assisting when moving over thresholds. It boasts a wide stance, heavy-duty box trunnion, and concave teeth on the trunnion gears for easier raising and tilting of the saw blade. The Poly-V drive belt system ensures quieter, more efficient power transfer from the motor to the arbor with virtually no vibration and less heat build-up.
