The hitch plate with receiver tube from Buyers Products is designed for immediate use, eliminating the need for fabrication. It includes an attached 2" receiver tube, two forged D-rings for safety chain attachment, and a pre-punched hole compatible with most trailer electrical connectors. Made from 1/2 inch thick material, the hitch plate features ICC bumper protection and a corrosion-resistant black powder-coated finish. It requires both welding and bolting to the frame and is specifically designed to fit Dodge/Ram model 3500/4500/5500 (not for pickups). The overall dimensions are 1/2" x 17.64" H with a maximum gross tow weight (MGTW) of 20,000 pounds. Users are advised to consult the vehicle/chassis owner's manual prior to installation.
