The Plain Trolley is rated for both manual and powered hoists, offering versatility that fits most types of beams and compatibility with all hoist brands. Its 5:1 design factor allows for effective use with both manual and powered hoists. The trolley meets pertinent U.S. (ASME/ANSI and CMAA), Canadian, and European standards. Key features include side plates made from cold-formed steel, ensuring strength, durability, and even load distribution, while the wheel axles are 'rivet-locked' to prevent loosening, as opposed to being knurled, welded, or modified bolts. The wheels are constructed from cast iron with a 'universal' tread suitable for flat or tapered beams and operate on sealed, 'lubed-for-life' ball bearings for smoother rolling and reduced maintenance. The wide hanger shaft assemblies accommodate almost any I-beam, H-beam, or patented track beam, up to 8.06 in./205 mm in width, and are designed to accept all hoist brands, featuring a 'squared out' recess for both round and squared hook shapes. The trolleys come coated in black paint for universal coordination, and shaft extension kits are available to enable standard trolleys to fit almost any S-beam or patented track beam, with flange adjustments ranging from 8'-13'.
