The Plain Trolley is rated for both manual and powered hoists, offering versatility to fit most beam types and compatibility with all hoist brands. Its 5:1 design factor enables use with both manual and powered hoists, while it meets pertinent U.S. (ASME/ANSI and CMAA), Canadian, and European standards. The trolley features side plates, including rail sweeps/drop stops, made of cold-formed steel for strength, durability, and even load distribution. The wheel axles are 'rivet-locked' to prevent loosening, and the wheels are composed of cast iron with a 'universal' tread suitable for both flat and tapered beams. These wheels operate on sealed, 'lubed-for-life' ball bearings, ensuring smoother rolling with less effort and maintenance. The wide hanger shaft assemblies allow the trolley to fit almost any I-beam, H-beam, or patented track beam up to 8.06 in./205 mm in width and are designed to accept all hoist brands. The hanger shaft features a 'squared out' recess for compatibility with round or squared hook shapes, and the trolleys are finished in black for universal coordination. Additionally, shaft extension kits are available to allow standard trolleys to fit almost any S-beam or patented track beam with a flange adjustment of 8'-13'.
