The Plain Trolley is rated for both manual or powered hoists, designed to be versatile and compatible with most types of beams and all hoist brands. With a 5:1 design factor, the PT Series can accommodate both manual and powered hoists, meeting pertinent U.S. (ASME/ANSI and CMAA), Canadian, and European standards. The trolley features side plates, including rail sweeps and drop stops, made of cold formed steel for enhanced strength, durability, and even load distribution. The wheel axles are rivet-locked in place to prevent loosening and are not knurled, welded, or modified bolts. The cast iron wheels feature a universal tread that fits both flat and tapered beams, and they operate on sealed, lubed-for-life ball bearings, ensuring smoother rolling with less effort and maintenance. The wide hanger shaft assemblies allow the PT Series trolley to fit I-beams, H-beams, or patented track beams up to 8.06 in./205 mm in width, and the hanger shafts are designed to accept all hoist brands. Additionally, the hanger shaft has a squared-out recess to accommodate round or squared hook shapes. The trolleys are painted black for universal coordination, and shaft extension kits enable standard trolleys to fit almost any S-beam or patented track beam with a flange adjustment of 8'-13'.
