The Extreme Washguard all-stainless washdown motor features a 3-phase design with specifications of .75/.5HP, 1725/1425 RPM, and a totally-enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure with a 56 frame and C face configuration. It operates at 208-230/460V, 3PH, 60/50Hz, with nameplate amps of 2.4-2.3/1.15 & 1.8/.9, designed for continuous duty with a 1.15 service factor, and no thermal protection. The motor boasts an efficiency of 80 and is defined as standard efficiency type, suitable for ambient temperatures of up to 40°C, with reverse rotation capability and a shaft length of 1-7/8". This innovative motor complies with EPAct regulations for non-exempt testing without shaft seals, incorporates total winding encapsulation using an epoxy resin, and features the Leeson exclusive IRIS™ inverter-rated insulation system. It is UL component recognized and certified for safety by CSA, ensuring energy efficiency verification. The construction includes all exterior components made from 300-series stainless steel, a Protech bearing isolator for the output shaft seal, and a double lip Viton shaft seal for non-drive output shafts on TEFC motors. With minimal exterior fasteners and a no through-bolt design along with screw-on conduit box covers, it allows for easy access to pre-lubricated double-sealed bearings. The motor is supported by a rigid cast base for rugged applications, features a full fact nameplate that is laser etched, and is BISSC certified for baking.
