Amt Commercial/Industrial centrifugal pumps are non-self-priming (gravity feed) units specifically designed for high-pressure low flow liquid transfer applications where no suction lift is required. Typical installations include hot and chilled water, boiler feed, condensate return, irrigation, high-pressure washdown, booster service, and fire protection/sprinkler systems, and they are often referred to as jockey pumps. The maximum inlet pressure is 500 ft./217 psi [1500 kPa]. Key features include 304 series stainless steel components with Teflon wear rings, a cast iron base and adapter, 1" NPT cast iron flanges, and a tungsten carbide/carbon seal with EPDM/EPR elastomers, which allows for easy seal replacement. These pumps are interchangeable with the Grundfos® CR3 series. It is important to note that these pumps have not been investigated for use in potable (drinking) water systems.
