The Amt 576C-95 CI submersible shredder sewage pump is designed for robust performance with its double mechanical seal, 3-inch outlet, and 2 HP, 3-phase motor. This pump features an enhanced spiral shredder mechanism plate and a carbide-tipped impeller, which work to prevent clogging and reduce maintenance when processing stringy, fibrous, and sludge-type waste. It is suitable for various applications, including sewage pumping stations, septic tanks, sewage treatment plants, dirty water drainage, and flood or emergency situations. The motors are rated for continuous duty, and single-phase models are equipped with thermal overload protection. It is important to maintain minimum liquid levels above 85% to prevent pump damage and warranty voidance. The spiral shredder mechanism plate is surface-hardened for improved cutting capability, and the unit comes with an 18-foot electrical cord (without plug). The pump is UL/CSA listed for compliance with safety standards.
