The Premium Washguard all-stainless washdown brake motor features a .5/.33HP power output and operates at 1725/1425 RPM with a totally-enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure. It is constructed with a 56H frame and rigid C design, powered by 208-230/460V, 3-phase supply on a 60/50Hz frequency. The motor has nameplate amps of 1.6/.8 & 1.4/.7 and is built for continuous duty with a 1.15 service factor, although it does not include thermal protection. The efficiency rating is 78.5 with standard efficiency type and is designed to operate in ambient temperatures of up to 40°C, supporting reverse rotation. Its shaft length is 1-7/8 inches with a shaft diameter of 5/8 inches. This motor provides maximum service in critically clean or corrosive environments due to its all-stainless steel exterior components, O-ring sealed endshields, and compliance with IEEE 841 severe-duty features. It meets demanding pharmaceutical requirements and is excellent for chemical-processing applications while achieving IP56 enclosure protection. The motor incorporates all Washguard mechanical and electrical features and utilizes the IRIS™ insulation system. It is BISSC certified for the baking industry, with the 1/2 HP motor providing a 3 ft-lbs brake rating and the 1 HP motor providing a 6 ft-lbs brake rating.
