Amt Submersible Contractor Pumps are designed for use in residential, commercial, and industrial environments, catering to applications such as construction sites, waste water management, storm water handling, farming, irrigation, excavation, mining, marine activities, basement drainage, and other general drainage tasks involving sediment-laden liquids with solids up to 3/8" in diameter. These pumps feature a self-cleaning impeller constructed from abrasion-resistant high chromium steel, ensuring durability. Each pump is powered by a 3450 RPM electric motor equipped with an unfinished power cord that necessitates field wiring (controls not included), and the motors are rated for continuous duty. Key features include a cast iron body with a stainless steel motor housing, a high chromium (HCR) steel impeller and cover for enhanced wear resistance, a superior motor design for quiet operation, and a silicon carbide mechanical seal coupled with a shaft seal. The pumps are UL/CSA listed and come with a 32' power cord (without a plug), suction screen, and carrying handle. They can operate at a maximum temperature of 104°F and handle solids up to 3/8".
