The Washguard SST all-stainless washdown motor is designed for demanding washdown applications, featuring a single-phase 1HP motor with a 3600 RPM speed, a totally-enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure, and a 56 frame. It operates at a voltage of 115-208/230V, 1PH, and 60Hz, with nameplate amps of 12.4/6.2 and a service factor of 1.15. The motor has an efficiency rating of 70, classified as standard, and is suitable for an ambient temperature of up to 40 C. It includes selective CCW rotation and a shaft length of 1-7/8". Constructed with all exterior components made from 300 series stainless steel—including the motor frame, endshield, and conduit box castings—it is equipped with a moisture-resistant sealant between the frame and endbells. The full-fact nameplate is laser-etched directly onto the motor frame, ensuring durability in harsh environments typical of food processing, chemical processing, and beverage industries. The motor is free from any paint or coatings, providing enhanced longevity. Additionally, it offers four locations for T-drains on each endshield and achieves an IP55 enclosure protection rating, featuring a 10:1 ratio for constant or variable torque at a 1.0 service factor.
