The Extreme Washeguard all-stainless washdown motor is a three-phase motor with a power rating of .75/.5 HP and operates at speeds of 1725/1425 RPM. It features a totally-enclosed non-ventilated (TENV) enclosure, a 56H frame, and is designed for rigid C mounting. The motor is rated for 208-230/460V, 3PH, and 60/50Hz with nameplate amps of 2.4-2.3/1.15 and 1.8/.9. It is suitable for continuous duty with a service factor of 1.15 and has no thermal protection. The efficiency rating is 80, classified as standard, and the motor can operate in ambient temperatures up to 40°C. It supports reverse rotation and has a shaft length of 1-7/8". This motor meets EPACT standards for non-exempt applications when tested without shaft seals and features total winding encapsulation using an epoxy resin. Additionally, it incorporates Leeson’s exclusive IRIS™ inverter-rated insulation system and is UL component recognized and CSA energy efficiency verified. The construction is CSA certified for safety, and all exterior components are made from 300-series stainless steel. The motor utilizes a ProTech bearing isolator for the output shaft seal, and a double lip Viton shaft seal is used on the non-drive output shaft in TEFC motors. It has minimal exterior fasteners, a no through-bolt design, and screw-on conduit box covers. Pre-lubricated double-sealed bearings allow for quick access, and the motor has a rigid cast base for rugged applications. The full fact nameplate is laser etched, and it is BISSC certified for baking.
