The Washguard SST all-stainless washdown motor is a single-phase unit with a power rating of 1.5HP and operates at 3600 RPM. It features a totally-enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure and is built on a 56 frame, with a rigid C design. The motor runs at voltage options of 115-208/230V, 1PH, 60Hz, with nameplate amps of 16.4/8.2 and a service factor of 1.15. It does not include thermal protection and has an efficiency rating classified as standard, with a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C. The motor allows for selective counterclockwise (CCW) rotation and has a shaft length of 1-7/8 inches. Designed for demanding washdown applications, it is constructed with 300 series stainless steel for all exterior components, including the motor frame, end shield, and conduit box castings. The motor features moisture-resistant sealant between the frame and end bells, and the full-fact nameplate is laser-etched on the motor frame. It is engineered to withstand the harsh washdown environments typical in food processing, chemical processing, and beverage industries, with no paint or coatings applied to the exterior. Additionally, the design includes four T-drains on each end shield and meets IP55 enclosure protection standards, delivering a 10:1 ratio for constant or variable torque at a 1.0 service factor.
