The Washguard SST all-stainless washdown motors are designed for demanding applications and feature a single-phase motor with specifications of 1.5HP, 1800 RPM, and a totally-enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure in a 56 frame. The motor operates at 115-208/230V, 1PH, and 60Hz, with name plate amps of 15.8/7.9 and a service factor of 1.15. With an efficiency rating of 75 and classified as a standard efficiency type, it can operate in ambient temperatures up to 40°C and has selective CCW rotation and a shaft length of 1-7/8". Constructed with all exterior components made from 300 series stainless steel, including the motor frame, endshield, and conduit box castings, it includes a moisture-resistant sealant between the frame and endbells, ensuring durability in harsh environments such as food processing, chemical processing, and beverage industries. The motor's full-fact nameplate is laser-etched on the frame, and it is built without any paint or coatings, featuring four locations for T-drains on each endshield. The Washguard SST meets IP55 enclosure protection and provides a 10:1 ratio for constant or variable torque at a service factor of 1.0.
