The WashGuard White Epoxy Coated Motor is a 3-phase motor with a 3HP capacity, operating at 1770 RPM. It features a totally-enclosed fan-cooled (TEFC) enclosure with a 182 frame and is designed for rigid applications. The motor operates at 208-220/460V, 3PH, and 60Hz, with nameplate amps of 8-8.6/4.3, ensuring continuous duty with a service factor of 1.15. It has an efficiency rating of 87.5% and complies with the EPACT efficiency type, with a maximum ambient temperature of 40 C. The motor supports reverse rotation and has a shaft length of 2-1/4 inches and a shaft diameter of 1-1/8 inches. It is specifically engineered for enhanced performance in wet and humid environments, featuring a durable Rust-Oleum® white epoxy coating, stainless steel components including the shaft, conduit box cover, nameplate, and fan guard, as well as special gaskets, slingers, and seals. The motor includes four endshield drains and moisture-resistant interior components, meets IP55 enclosure protection standards, and is suitable for use with variable frequency drives (VFDs), providing a 10:1 ratio for constant or variable torque at a 1.0 service factor.
