The SSM1-P water filter is designed to enhance the longevity of your Scotsman® ice machine while delivering cleaner, more consistent ice. This single system supports cubers up to 650 lb (295 kg) and flakers, nuggets, and nugget dispensers up to 1,200 lb (544 kg). It features AquaArmor with Agion®, a silver-based anti-microbial compound that minimizes the growth of bacteria, microorganisms, algae, mold, and slime on ice machine surfaces, effectively preventing premature clogging. The filter utilizes ultrafine half-micron filtration along with food-grade polyphosphate to eliminate chlorine, off-tastes, odors, and particles from the ice. Designed for ease of installation and maintenance, this filtration system can potentially reduce unscheduled water-related maintenance calls by as much as 40%.
