The kit includes RS-232 and USB interfaces, a rechargeable battery for AC operation, a capacity tracker, adjustable feet, and a level indicator, alongside lockdown capability. The innovative design features a removable draft shield to minimize the effects of air currents. The ShockProtect® system helps to prevent overloads, ensuring smooth performance. Key features of the balance include color-coded keys for quick recognition, dual tare keys for left or right-hand operation, a security slot for an optional Kensington-type lock to prevent theft, and a large Grade 304 stainless steel pan for easy cleaning. The solid ABS housing ensures durability for industrial use, while a three-point ShockProtect® feature safeguards internal components from overload damage. Communications are facilitated through USB and RS-232 interfaces, and an audible overload alarm alerts users when capacity is exceeded.
