The kit includes rubber voltage gloves that are electrically tested and stamped with the initial test date, ensuring reliability and safety in use. These gloves must be utilized within 12 months of the test date and, once issued, they must be retested within 6 months from the date of distribution to employees. To enhance the lifespan of the rubber voltage gloves, it is recommended to wear them with 10" leather glove protectors, though these protectors are not required to be marked with a date. The gloves are classified as Class 00, with a maximum use voltage of 500V AC/750V DC, making them suitable for arc flash protection. They comply with several standards, including NFPA 70E, CSA Z462, and ANSI/ASTM D120, Class 00, Type 1.
