The kit includes a protective garment designed with an arc rating of 9.8 cal/cm² and classified as Category 2, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70E, ANSI/ISEA 107 Type R Class 3, CSA Z462, ASTM F2733, ASTM F1891, and OSHA 1910.269 standards. Constructed from PU coated FR cotton, the fabric features a 2" FR silver reflective trim and an FR polyurethane (PU) moisture barrier, providing both durability and flexibility without becoming brittle over time. The garment is equipped with waterproof welded seams and reinforced stress points for enhanced durability, complemented by a back ventilation system incorporating FR mesh for increased airflow. Additional features include a contoured collar with a tuck-away attached hood, covered D-ring opening access, covered zipper and snap closure, FR hook and loop adjustable leg closures, adjustable cuffs and shoulder straps, as well as a heavy-duty quick-release suspender system. The FR fabric is designed to not melt, drip, or ignite, ensuring safety in hazardous environments. This product is proudly made in the USA.
