The JET JTM-1050 milling machine is built with Meehanite castings and features a heavy-duty hardened and ground 10 x 50 table, ensuring exceptional durability and performance. It is equipped with chrome lead screws on both the X and Y axes, satin chrome finished dials, and a precision bored and honed milling head for superior cutting quality. The large diameter quill is chromed, and high precision Class 7 spindle bearings support a spindle head that is internally cooled. This model includes a no fuse breaker power connection, a heavy-duty motor drive, and a chrome plated motor shaft with bearing support at the end. A one-piece quill pinion and shaft, along with a three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop, enhance the machine's ease of use. Additional features include a heavy-duty spindle brake, locks on all movable surfaces, hardened and ground square vertical knee ways and cross ways, adjustable gibs throughout, and an internal coolant tank built into the base for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included).
