The BSC Preferred's™ MERV 8 pleated air filters are designed to virtually eliminate shipping damage by utilizing 100% synthetic media with memory, ensuring a no metal construction that reduces landfill waste and is fully incinerable. With a MERV 8 efficiency, these filters can contribute to LEED points and feature a low pressure drop alongside a 100% recycled paperboard frame. They are constructed either from clay coated paperboard with a depth of 1 inch or high wet strength beverage board with a depth of 2 inches, providing enhanced moisture resistance. These air filters are ideal for various applications, including as prefilters for high-efficiency filters, in office and retail environments, manufacturing and distribution facilities, governmental and educational establishments, medical offices, assisted living facilities, hospitals, hotels, and airports, as well as in single and multi-family housing.
