The BSC Preferred™ MERV 8 pleated air filters are designed to virtually eliminate shipping damage by utilizing 100% synthetic media with memory, and feature a no metal design that reduces landfill waste, is fully incinerable, and offers MERV 8 efficiency suitable for LEED points. These filters include a low pressure drop and a 100% recycled paperboard frame, constructed from either clay coated paperboard (1" depth) or high wet strength beverage board (2" depth), providing increased moisture resistance. They are ideal for use in various applications such as prefilters for high efficiency filters, office and retail environments, manufacturing and distribution centers, government and educational facilities, medical offices, assisted living facilities, hospitals, hotels, airports, and both single and multi-family housing. Key attributes include 100% synthetic self-supporting pleated media that reduces weight without sacrificing efficiency, non-reliance on electrostatic charge, and low resistance to air flow for minimal energy costs. These filters are also moisture resistant and do not promote microbial growth while effectively removing airborne irritants and protecting the cooling and ductwork of HVAC systems. The filters come with a warranty of 90 days.
