The Jet® JTM-4VS milling machine is equipped with an Acu-Rite 200S 3-axis quill DRO and X & Y powerfeed, making it ideal for cutting and shaping metal and other materials. It features a 2 HP motor with a voltage of 115/230V and is prewired for 230V. The machine is constructed with Meehanite casting, satin chrome-finished dials, and a chrome-plated motor shaft with lower bearing support. It includes a large-diameter chromed quill, a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, a precision bored and honed milling head, and high-precision Class 7 spindle bearings. The spindle head is internally cooled, and the machine has a heavy-duty splined motor drive along with a three-stage power downfeed that includes an automatic stop. Locks are present on all movable surfaces, complemented by a heavy-duty spindle brake. Additional features include precision hardened and ground ways and table, adjustable gibs throughout, and an internal coolant tank built into the casting base for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included). The machine also has a one-shot lubrication system and comes with a tolerance test sheet included.
