The JTM-1 and JTM-2 models feature a three-stage power down feed with auto stop, ensuring precise operation and efficiency. Made from rugged Meehanite castings, these machines benefit from a precision bored and honed milling head, as well as a large diameter quill that is chromed for enhanced durability. High precision class 7 spindle bearings and an internally cooled spindle head prevent seizing, while satin chrome finished dials and a heavy-duty splined motor drive add to the machine's robust design. The one-piece quill pinion and shaft, combined with a heavy-duty spindle brake and precision hardened and ground ways, provide superior stability and performance. Adjustable gibs throughout and a one-shot lubrication system ensure smooth operation, and the internal coolant tank built into the base is designed for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included). Additionally, the kit includes a tolerance test sheet and way covers. The machines are backed by an industry-leading Jet two-year warranty.
