The JTM-1 and 2 models feature a three-stage power down feed with automatic stop, ensuring precise control during operation. Constructed with Meehanite castings for rugged stability, these machines integrate a precision bored and honed milling head, providing high durability and performance. The large diameter quill is chrome-plated, and the high precision class 7 spindle bearings enhance accuracy. The spindle head is internally cooled to prevent seizing, while satin chrome finished dials facilitate easy operation. Powered by a heavy-duty splined motor drive, the machines include a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, heavy-duty spindle brake, and precision hardened and ground ways with adjustable gibs throughout for optimal performance. Additional features include an internal coolant tank built into the base (coolant pump not included), a tolerance test sheet, a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools. These models are supported by a two-year warranty for added peace of mind.
