The JTM-1 and 2 models feature a three-stage power down feed with auto stop and are built with high precision class 7 spindle bearings, providing rugged stability through Meehanite castings. The milling head is precision bored and honed, complemented by a large diameter quill that is chromed for durability. An internally cooled spindle head prevents seizing, while the satin chrome finished dials offer enhanced visibility. The machines are equipped with a heavy-duty splined motor drive, a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, and a heavy-duty spindle brake for reliable operation. Additional attributes include precision hardened and ground ways, adjustable gibs throughout, and an internal coolant tank built into the base for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included). A tolerance test sheet is included, along with a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools. The entire setup is supported by the industry-leading JET two-year warranty.
