The JTM-1 and JTM-2 models feature a three-stage power down feed with auto stop, high precision class 7 spindle bearings, and the rugged stability of Meehanite castings, ensuring exceptional performance and reliability. The milling head is precision bored and honed, complemented by a large diameter quill that is chromed for durability. The spindle head is internally cooled to prevent seizing, while Jet precision engineering guarantees high-quality results. Additional specifications include satin chrome finished dials, a heavy-duty splined motor drive, a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, a heavy-duty spindle brake, and a precision ground table. The machine offers adjustable gibs throughout and includes an internal coolant tank built into the base for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included). A tolerance test sheet is provided, along with a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox equipped with necessary tools.
