Notrax® Switchboard non-conductive diamond mat is 1/4" thick and comes in a full 75 ft roll with a width of 3'. This diamond switchboard matting is made from a non-conductive PVC compound, specifically designed to provide insulation for the worker by preventing grounding and eliminating the risk of electrical shock. The diamond plate top surface enhances traction and allows for easy cleaning. It is suitable for use in dry environments in front of high voltage boxes, electrical fuse boxes, and transformers. The mat features an electrically insulative type 2 PVC compound with a class 2 dielectric strength of 30,000 volts, a proof test of 20,000 volts, and a recommended maximum use voltage of 17,000 volts. Each square foot of the matting is tested to meet ANSI/ASTM D-178 specifications. It is highly recommended that the matting be replaced every 12 months for optimum performance.
