The Notrax® Switchboard Non-Conductive Diamond Mat is a 1/4" thick matting available in a 2' wide full 75 ft. roll, featuring a black color. Constructed from a PVC compound, this matting provides insulation for workers by preventing grounding and reducing the risk of electrical shock. Its diamond plate top surface enhances traction and facilitates easy cleaning. Ideal for use in dry environments, it is suitable for placement in front of high voltage boxes, electrical fuse boxes, and transformers. The mat is made from an electrically insulative Type 2 PVC compound, with a Class 2 di-electric strength of 30,000 volts and a proof test of 20,000 volts, while the recommended maximum use voltage is 17,000 volts. Each square foot of this matting complies with ANSI/ASTM D-178 specifications, and it is advisable to replace the matting every 12 months to ensure optimum performance.
