The pleated air filter is designed for HVAC units in commercial, light commercial, and industrial buildings, suitable for applications such as office and retail spaces, industrial filtration, single and multi-family housing, government and education facilities, and healthcare settings including doctor offices, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. The filter features 100% synthetic media with an added antimicrobial agent to prevent mold growth, achieving a MERV 11 rating. Its pleated design traps heavier particles at the bottom or tips of the pleats while keeping the sides open longer, enhancing filtration efficiency and airflow with low resistance to reduce energy costs. The filter offers a low initial pressure drop, moisture resistance, and an initial efficiency over 74% on 1-3 micron particles, which is more than twice the initial efficiency of traditional cotton poly filters. It is effective in contributing to USGBC-LEED certification points for sustainability projects.
