It features 100% synthetic media treated with an antimicrobial agent to prevent mold growth and achieves a MERV 11 rating. The filter's pleated design traps heavier, restrictive particles at the bottom or tips of the pleats while keeping the sides open longer, enhancing filtration efficiency and maintaining low resistance to improve airflow and reduce energy costs. The filter offers a low initial pressure drop and has an initial efficiency over twice that of traditional cotton-poly media, with moisture-resistant synthetic media achieving an initial efficiency greater than 74% on 1-3 micron particles. This filter supports efforts to earn points for USGBC-LEED certification projects.
