The filter media is treated with an additional antimicrobial agent to prevent mold growth and is made of 100% synthetic material, achieving a MERV 11 rating. The pleated design accumulates heavier particles at the bottom or tips of the pleats, keeping the sides open longer to maintain effective filtration and low resistance, which improves airflow and can reduce energy costs. This filter supports earning points for USGBC-LEED certification projects and features low initial pressure drop, with initial efficiency over twice that of traditional cotton poly media.
