It features a 100% synthetic media with an antimicrobial agent applied to prevent mold growth and achieves a MERV 11 rating. The filter's pleated design collects heavier, more restrictive particles at the bottom or pleat tips while keeping the sides open for extended effective filtration, contributing to low initial pressure drop and improved airflow, which can reduce energy costs. Its initial efficiency exceeds 74% on 1-3 micron particles, more than twice the efficiency of traditional cotton-poly filters, and the moisture-resistant media supports performance in humid conditions.
