It is suitable for various applications including office and retail spaces, industrial filtration, single and multi-family housing, as well as government, education, and healthcare facilities such as doctor's offices, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. The filter is enhanced with an antimicrobial agent to prevent mold growth and utilizes 100% synthetic media, achieving a MERV 11 rating. Its pleated design allows for the accumulation of heavier particles at the bottom of the pleats, keeping the sides open for prolonged effective filtration. The low resistance of the filter improves airflow and can lead to reduced energy costs. It can also contribute toward points for USGBC-LEED certification projects. The filter features a low initial pressure drop, with an initial efficiency that is over two times greater than traditional cotton poly, and demonstrates moisture resistance with an initial efficiency greater than 74% for 1-3 micron particles.
