It features an additional antimicrobial agent applied to the media to prevent mold growth and utilizes 100% synthetic media that achieves a MERV 11 rating. The filter's pleated design allows it to accumulate heavier particles at the bottom or tips of the pleats, thus keeping the sides open longer for enhanced filtration, while its low resistance promotes improved air flow and can significantly reduce energy costs. This filter also contributes to USGBC-LEED certification projects, offers a low initial pressure drop, and has an initial efficiency over two times greater than traditional cotton poly, with an initial efficiency greater than 74% on 1-3 micron particles.
