The pleated air filter is designed for use in HVAC units across commercial, light commercial, and industrial buildings, including offices, retail spaces, industrial filtration, single and multi-family housing, government, education facilities, and healthcare settings from doctor offices and assisted living facilities to hospitals. It features a 100% synthetic media with an additional antimicrobial agent applied to prevent mold growth, achieving a MERV 11 rating. The pleated design accumulates heavier, more restrictive particles at the bottom or tips of the pleats while keeping the sides open for continued filtration, resulting in low resistance that improves airflow and can reduce energy costs. The filter offers low initial pressure drop and initial efficiency greater than 74% on 1-3 micron particles, which is over twice that of traditional cotton poly media. The moisture-resistant, synthetic media and efficient filtration make it suitable for contributing to USGBC-LEED certification projects. Warranty terms comply with manufacturer specifications.
