It features a 100% synthetic media with an antimicrobial agent applied to prevent mold growth, achieving a MERV 11 rating. The pleated design allows heavier particles to accumulate at the bottom or tips of the pleats, keeping the sides open longer for effective filtration and improved airflow, which can reduce energy costs. The filter offers low initial pressure drop and an initial efficiency over twice that of traditional cotton poly filters, with moisture-resistant synthetic media demonstrating initial efficiency greater than 74% on 1-3 micron particles.
